Background

Processes in the packaging and carpentry divisions were hardly digitised; Orders, deliveries, and coordination were handled via email and Excel spreadsheets. Given the large number of partners, this resulted in a high administrative burden, a lack of transparency, and unclear lines of responsibility. A digital platform was needed to bring structure to the complex order processing workflow—a project that Contoweb has supported with precision and process understanding since the outset.

Solution

We are developing a central platform to coordinate all packaging and carpentry orders. It connects internal teams and external partners, integrates upstream systems such as ERP and monitoring tools, and automates approval processes. The dashboard displays the exact information users need—from user masks to e-mail or SMS notifications. Intuitive KPI visualization ensures a clear overview at all times.

Benefits

The platform serves as a central supply chain hub for all stakeholders, making processes, key performance indicators, and progress in day-to-day operations transparent. Over 160 active users have coordinated more than 100,000 orders to date. The solution provides a single platform for six companies and a consistent process and data model. It processes approximately 22,600 API transmissions per day and increases efficiency across the entire process through automation.
