Care homes regularly order products for their residents; products range from personal care items to wound care supplies. For Praximedico as a supplier, this means a lot of administration: Requests for supplies, individual orders, and billing are often processed manually and are prone to errors. The workload is high and the processes are complex. A digital solution is needed to ease the burden and simplify processes for care homes and their suppliers.

Contoweb is developing the <<Praxicare>> platform for Praximedico, which digitally connects care homes with their suppliers. The system centrally manages resident data, automatically calculates individual product requirements, generates order suggestions, and supports care staff with procurement. Orders, prescriptions, and invoices are processed automatically via interface with the Abacus ERP, ensuring secure, efficient, and transparent daily operations.

Praxicare eases the burden in care settings. The platform reduces administrative work, prevents ordering errors, and provides a clear overview of needs, limits, and delivery status. This frees up more time for staff to care for residents directly. Thanks to the system's scalability, today, over 10,000 active residents are managed via Praxicare—a fivefold increase since the platform was launched.
