Web-based design software for deflection installations.
For Geobrugg, Contoweb develops the web-based platform ATTERO. Engineers worldwide can use it to calculate rockfall protection systems online, simulate scenarios, and plan projects in real time.Geobrugg | Rockfall protection measurement ATTERO
Background
Geobrugg is launching a new generation of its rockfall protection systems. The aim is to make the planning and calculation of these systems digitally accessible. The calculation of rockfall attenuators is complex and requires precise physical models. Contoweb is developing the digital platform ATTERO for this purpose, a software that makes complex calculations in real time accessible and visually comprehensible for engineers worldwide.
Solution
ATTERO is a web-based platform for rockfall attenuators that combines calculation, simulation and visualization in one application. A Python microservice handles the physical calculations, while the React frontend displays scenarios and force curves interactively. Live simulations allow real rockfall events to be reproduced. After each calculation, the reporting function provides a structured summary of the results.
Benefits
The platform translates complex engineering physics into an intuitive web application, setting a new standard in rockfall protection. Engineers and engineers get a visually supported environment for precise calculations, simulations and reports. The system is integrated into myGeobrugg and available globally. Interesting fact: In a practical test, the RXE-12500 barrier withstood a 25-ton block at 115 km/h – world record in rockfall protection.
